Your piece is set with moissanite, graded D colorless, VVS clarity, Excellent cut. It is hard and durable enough for everyday wear. A few simple habits will keep it looking the way it did the moment you opened it, for years to come.

Everyday wear

Moissanite ranks high for hardness, so you can wear your piece daily with confidence. As a simple habit, put your jewelry on last when getting ready, after lotion, perfume, sunscreen, and hairspray. This keeps product residue from building up on the stone and dulling its brilliance.

Quick clean with your microfiber cloth

Your order includes a microfiber cloth. For a fast refresh between deeper cleans, gently buff the stone and the metal with the cloth to lift away oils and fingerprints and bring back the shine. Keep the cloth somewhere handy so a quick polish is easy.

Deeper clean at home

When your piece needs more than a polish, soak it for a few minutes in warm water with a small amount of mild dish soap. Brush gently with a soft toothbrush, paying attention to the back of the stone where light enters and where buildup tends to collect. Rinse under warm water, then dry and polish with your microfiber cloth. A clean stone returns far more light than a dull one, so this simple routine makes a visible difference.

When to take it off

Remove your piece for heavy lifting, gardening, swimming in chlorinated pools, and cleaning with harsh chemicals. The stone itself is tough, but taking your piece off for these protects the metal and the setting over the long term and keeps the prongs secure.

Storing your piece
