From the founder
Hi, I'm Nick.
Before starting Estara, I spent a year with jewelry makers and stone suppliers in India, Thailand and China, comparing stones side by side. What I learned: much of what you pay for in fine jewelry is the name on the box, and the details of what's inside are often vague.
So we built our own workshop in India and do it the other way around. Every listing tells you the stone, the grade, the carat and the metal. Every piece is set by hand, checked against its specification and shipped with a certificate that records it. You should know exactly what you are buying.

An IGI report, on every lab grown piece
Every lab grown diamond piece is certified by IGI, an independent lab. Main diamonds of 0.5 ct or more each get their own IGI report, smaller ones an IGI jewelry report for the finished piece. The report ships in the box.
Real, marked metal
Sterling silver 925, gold vermeil, 10K, 14K or 18K solid gold, or platinum 950. Your certificate names the exact metal.

Our footprint
Grown, not mined
Both our stones are grown above ground, so no new mine is dug for your piece. We use recycled metals where we can and keep our packaging simple. Growing a stone still takes energy, so we won't tell you lab grown means zero impact. We're here to do better, not to claim we're perfect.
Where is Estara jewelry made?
In our own workshop in India. Every stone is set by hand there, checked against its specification and certified before it ships to you. House of Estara is a brand of Grandoria eSales LLC, a US company.
Do you sell lab grown diamonds or moissanite?
Both. A lab grown diamond is a real diamond grown above ground. Moissanite is its own gemstone, made of silicon carbide. Every product title and certificate says exactly which stone you are buying, so you never have to guess.
Is every piece certified?
Yes. Every piece comes with an Estara certificate that records the stone, carat and metal. Every lab grown diamond piece also comes with an IGI report. See how certification works.
