Measure at home

Three ways to find your size

  • Use string or paper

    Wrap a thin strip of paper or string around the base of your finger. Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure in millimeters. Match it to the circumference in the chart.

  • Measure a ring you own

    Pick a ring that fits the same finger. Measure across the inside, edge to edge, in millimeters. Match it to the diameter in the chart.

  • Order and resize free

    Still not sure? Order your best guess. Every ring includes one free resize, one size up or down, within 60 days of delivery.

Get it right first time

Tips for an accurate fit

  • Measure warm

    Fingers shrink in the cold and swell in the heat. Measure at the end of the day, at room temperature.

  • Mind the knuckle

    If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, choose a size that slides over it comfortably.

  • Measure the right hand

    Measure the finger you will wear the ring on. Your dominant hand is often a little larger.

  • Measure twice

    Measure two or three times and use the size that comes up most. Pull string snug, not tight.

Every ring includes one free resize, one size up or down, within 60 days of delivery. Email care@houseofestara.com with your order number and the size you need, and we will send you the next steps.

We make rings in US 4 to 9, including half sizes. Choose your size on the product page before you add the ring to your bag.

How do I find their size for a surprise proposal?

Borrow a ring they wear on the same finger and measure across the inside in millimeters, or ask a close friend or family member. If you are unsure, order your best guess: the free resize within 60 days has you covered.

Should I size up or down if I am between sizes?

Size up. A ring that is slightly loose can be made smaller, but one that is too small cannot be worn. If your knuckle is wide, make sure the size slides over it comfortably.
